Weaving for All Ages

Using recyclables, fabric, yarn and assorted tactile materials, students create curriculum-based weavings on a supported framework. Projects are small or large scale, individual or collaborative, with possible auction and installation art options.

Please note: Auction and installation projects incur extra costs for supplies and artist materials preparation (see below). A minimum of 12 sessions per week required.

About the Artist

Peggy Ross

Peggy, a YA Artist of the Year, delights in helping students build their art muscles. As a studio artist, she paints, collages and weaves. Peggy holds a BA in studio art, has completed Kennedy Center and Arts for Learning training and is educated in costuming and textiles. Peggy has been inspiring students to learn and create in school classrooms, art centers, clubs, camps and colleges since 1995.
