Innovative Paper mask making: Self expression through paper mask making

Masks tell stories and have been a part of human expression since ancient times. Using simple materials students will learn to design and create 3D paper masks that can be used as a bridge to story telling, history, nature and self expression.

Debra Fisher

Debra has worked as a mask maker and Costume-props artisan for Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Portland Center for Performing Arts and Central Oregon Community College Magic Circle Theatre. Debra has also shown her art masks in galleries and shows throughout the NW. She has over 25 years of teaching experience for the Oregon Artist in the Schools Program. She enjoys sharing her passion for the Arts and inspiring excitement and confidents in her students.
