Artist Biography
Debra has worked as a mask maker and Costume-props artisan for Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Portland Center for Performing Arts and Central Oregon Community College Magic Circle Theatre. Debra has also shown her art masks in galleries and shows throughout the NW. She has over 25 years of teaching experience for the Oregon Artist in the Schools Program. She enjoys sharing her passion for the Arts and inspiring excitement and confidents in her students.
Teaching Philosophy
Debra believes the arts enhance students power of perception, build problem solving skills and the ability to express themselves creatively. The Arts can be a foundation that inspires continued creative self expression and life long learning.
