Artist Biography
Jina and Michelle both have a passion for Animation and working with kids to create their visions. They have been teaching workshops and camps throughout Portland since 2017. Michelle Subotnick, mother of two boys, has a Bachelor of Science in Animation and Media Arts from the Art Institute of San Francisco. Jina Choi, mother of two boys, studied Multimedia Design and has a Bachelor of Art in Graphic Design from University of Oregon.
Teaching Philosophy
Jina and Michelle teach children how to express themselves by telling their own stories through art. They support children to work through all forms and stories and allow them to express themselves. They believe art is a great platform for children to grow and learn.
