Teaching Philosophy

The basis of Angela's teaching philosophy is that children learn best through experience. By actively engaging the senses with the materials, textures, and mediums that are provided, each student receives a chance to explore and create. This free flowing approach builds confidence, can act as an outlet, and establishes individual identities which strengthens communities. Certain age appropriate concepts such as cause and effect, color exploration, spatial relations, and problem solving are involved in the process along with the theme of the class.
