Learning Target: I can make patterns of words, sounds, and motions to show how I’m feeling

Learning Summary: Students will learn about patterns in art and in nature, and then create patterns themselves using their voices and/or their bodies. Throughout the lesson students will be creating patterns around both their present state of mind, and how they see themselves.

Arts Standard: Art: MU.1.CR1.1. With limited guidance, create musical ideas (such as answering a musical question) for a specific purpose. With limited guidance, generate musical ideas in multiple tonalities (such as major and minor) and meters (such as duple and triple).

SEL Standard: "Standard 1: Self-Awareness & Identity: Identify and reflect upon one’s thoughts, emotions, behaviors, intersectional identity, and capabilities across situations and environments."
