Miró-Motions with Michele Haney
Learning Target: I can connect my emotions with mark making to create a Joan Miro inspired drawing
Learning Summary: Students will observe and discuss meaning and mark making in Joan Miró's work and collaboratively create their own connections between emotions, lines and shapes. Then, students will individually create Miró inspired drawings.
Arts Standard: VA.2.CR2.3. Create personally satisfying artwork using a variety of artistic processes and materials.
SEL Standard: "Standard 1: Self-Awareness & Identity: Identify and reflect upon one’s thoughts, emotions, behaviors, intersectional identity, and capabilities across situations and environments.", "Standard 4: Relationship Skills & Collaborative Problem-Solving: Establish and maintain healthy, supportive relationships and effectively navigate diverse settings in order to collaboratively solve problems."
