Learning Summary: Writing lyrics in a Hip Hop and pop music format that expresses something about your racial, cultural, ethnic, national, or religious identity.

Arts Standard: Art: MU.1.CR1.5. Improvise rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic ideas, and explain connection to specific purpose and context (such as social, cultural, and historical). Generate musical ideas (such as rhythms, melodies, and accompaniment patterns) within specific related tonalities, meters, and simple chord changes.
