Moving Like A Butterfly with Jill Giedt
Learning Target: I can use my observations to express myself through dance.
Learning Summary: Students will learn about the life cycle of a butterfly and use their observations to express themselves through their own dance movements. Throughout the lesson, students will develop a sense of individuality and learn what makes them unique.
Arts Standard: Art: DA.1.CR1.1. Respond in movement to a variety of stimuli (e.g., images, symbols, adverbs, adjectives, elements of nature, tactile, emotions).
SEL Standard: "Standard 1: Self-Awareness & Identity: Identify and reflect upon one’s thoughts, emotions, behaviors, intersectional identity, and capabilities across situations and environments."
