Inventions in Action with Heather Pearl
Learning Target: I can use physical acting skills to create a scene with others about an invention by a Black American and perform it for my class.
Learning Summary: Students will learn to use their bodies as tools for acting through exercises and games. They will create characters (including objects) and use them in a scene showing an invention by a Black American. Students will be the audience for each other, developing observation skills and respect.
Arts Standard: TH.3.CR3.2 Multiple representations single object
SEL Standard: Standard 2: Self-Management & Agency: Use management strategies to build personal and collective agency that lead to achieving goals and aspirations.
