This program shares the history and context of taiko in Japan and the US through powerful drumming, personal real-life stories, and engaging audience participation.
A family night performance consists of 2-3 short taiko performance programs lasting 15-20 minutes, offered in the evening after school hours.

Program Requirements: Can perform anywhere indoors. Needs a 20' x 15' performance space. Students should be seated 8' from performance area with a 3' aisle in the middle. Needs: 2 microphones on stands & 1 electrical outlet (or 1 electrical outlet & ability to hook in Unit Souzou's wireless microphones to school sound system).
