About the Artist

Pegasus Puppet Theatre

Pegasus Puppet Theatre Performers: Emily Alexander Emily is the daughter of the founders of Tears of Joy Theatre and was for many years their Education Director and a principal performer. Upon Tears of Joy's closing in 2019, Emily founded Pegasus Puppet Theatre to carry on the tradition of bringing joy and wonder to children through the art of puppetry. Emily spends her free time performing in and directing musicals for Stumptown Stages. Wolf Alexander Wolf is a third generation puppeteer and studied writing at PNCA. Wolf toured throughout the Pacific Northwest with Tears of Joy Theatre before joining Pegasus Puppet Theatre in 2019 as a performer and principal script writer. Wolf has also spent countless hours educating children ages 5-12, combining the performing arts with social-emotional learning. Zuzu Hinds Zuzu is a third generation puppeteer and arts educator who has been performing professionally since childhood. She also works professionally in local stage and film productions. Zuzu is delighted to carry on the tradition of bringing puppetry and the performing arts to children.

... even now, as I sit writing this note, it brings a smile to my face. It's sometimes difficult in today's world to find something so heartwarming and fun but they succeeded in spreading joy and laughter to everyone present. It was a very memorable day!
