Kids Junk Orchestra

In this performance Kids Junk Orchestra players beat on whatever surface they can think of — drums, bongos, cowbells, pots and pans and, of course, buckets.

This is an original musical that takes you on a journey of different styles of music from blues to jazz to hip-hop, and everything in between- but percussion is the thing. Kids Junk Orchestra is a performing history of percussion that travels to different regions to discover African, Latin, Reggae rhythms and music from their beginnings all the way to the present- all in a 45-minute performance!
