Business Basics for Artists

Join us on Zoom for an open forum discussion on the basics of setting up and maintaining a business as an artist led by Vince Sliwoski, a business lawyer active in supporting Oregon’s creative and non-profit cultures. This is not a legal clinic, and participants will not be receiving legal advice.

Presenter information-

Vince Sliwoski is a business lawyer based in Portland, Oregon. He actively supports Oregon’s creative and non-profit cultures, including as counsel for some of the state’s signature events, like the Pickathon Music Festival and the Waterfront Blues Festival. Vince is a former columnist for the Portland Mercury and served for many years on the Hollywood Theatre’s Board of Directors. He is also active with Oregon Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
