Papier-mâché Masks

Papier-mâché masks are wonderful for exploring all kinds of expressive possibilities. Miss Lulu has guided well over a thousand students in learning the basics of using papier-mâché to create masks related to animal studies, folk tales, alien adventures, and social-emotional learning.

This is a very energetic, hands-on, and good messy fun project. Miss Lulu will take students from building a sub-structure for the mask, designing on paper, adding recycled materials for features, and painting the final piece.

Volunteer helpers at all grade levels make this project a success for one and all and are very much appreciated.
