AERIAL EXPERIENCE!

This program offered by: Supernova the Strongwoman

Assemblies of students laughing, gasping, and cheering so hard that they are left breathless is one of Supernova’s favorite parts of working with Arts for Learning NW!

The “Aerial Experience” takes the acrobatics and fun of Supernova’s “Circus Spectacular” to another level by adding spinning trapeze performance on a portable aerial rig set up in your school!

Trained by Cirque du Soleil coaches in Montreal, Quebec, our internationally-touring Circus Strongwoman calls local Beaverton, Oregon home!

The “Aerial Experience” melds a message of empowerment, dedication to practice and adventures of the road, with physics-defying circus stunts, and head-spinning trapeze tricks. Supernova weaves a narrative of discovery that leads to decision making and growth. The story that emerges is one of learning through exploration, the gift of facing challenges, and appreciation for the guidance of teachers and collaborators. Audiences will leave knowing anything is possible – even rolling up a metal frying pan, and suspending oneself by only the strength of the toes!

Supernova’s highly-interactive, Steel-bending, Hoverboard-handstanding, trapeze-dancing spectacle invites multiple students to share the stage with her, and to make vital contributions that shape the arc of the performance itself.

The students are saying:
“There is literally no one who has inspired me more!”
– Macauley Baker (high school athlete)

The teachers are saying:
“Her strength of spirit matches her muscle strength! I was impressed with how much she involved the students and really listened to what they were asking. We can’t wait to bring her back!”
– Heather Pearl (Cedarwood Waldorf School)

Best time to book November, December, January. Maximum audience size can be altered with an agreement from the artist.
