Teacher and Student as Co-investigators: Using the Arts to Explore Big Ideas

How do we lead arts learning lessons when we have little to no experience in the arts? In this session, we investigate how to teach in a co-learner method and dive into accessible ways to facilitate arts learning with our students. 

We’ll practice and play with new art skills by joining students as they step into activities that are new and hard. This approach encourages the students to take risks, deepens connections between the student and educators, and reawakens our own learner’s mindset.
