Tableau with Jayna Sweet
Learning Target: I can create a tableau utilizing different levels and negative/positive space. I can tell a story silently by utilizing levels and proximity in tableau. I can incorporate the perspectives and feelings of my group to revise and clarify the characters in our story.
Learning Summary: Students will learn how to tell compelling stories by creating silent, frozen images - or, tableaus. They will work together in pairs and teams to foster collaboration and practice social awareness.
Arts Standard: Art: TH.3.CR3.2. Creating-Refine and complete artistic work.
SEL Standard: "Standard 3: Social Awareness & Belonging: Develop social awareness that fosters a sense of belonging and leads to co-constructing equitable, thriving communities and a vibrant society."
