My Story: Moveable Parts Collage with Judy Fuentes

Learning Target: I can try new materials and skills, guided by my own interests and curiosity. I can share materials, help my peers and learn from my peers with new art skills. My artwork reflects my environment.

Learning Summary: Students will learn about abstract art as they create an impermanent art piece representing a story that shares something true about themselves.

Arts Standard: VA.1.CR1.K:1 With guided support, utilize play and imagination to generate ideas for an artwork.

SEL Standard: "Standard 1: Self-Awareness & Identity: Identify and reflect upon one’s thoughts, emotions, behaviors, intersectional identity, and capabilities across situations and environments."
