Making A Movement Story with Maia McCarthy
Learning Target: I can use my imagination, my understanding, and feedback from others to create a movement story.
Learning Summary: Students will select and analyze a simple text, for example idioms, to decide how they want to tell the story of that text using movement only. They will ask another classmate for feedback and decide which feedback to use to more clearly convey their meaning
Arts Standard: DA.2.CR2.1Create a dance phrase with a clear beginning, middle, and end that has a main idea.
SEL Standard: "Standard 3: Social Awareness & Belonging: Develop social awareness that fosters a sense of belonging and leads to co-constructing equitable, thriving communities and a vibrant society."
