Making A Dance with Subashini Ganesan
Learning Target: I can choreograph a dance with beginning, middle & end that helps my group understand and express a poem.
Learning Summary: Students will learn a Sanskrit poem and matching hand gestures, then work together using these gestures to make a dance that includes the whole group.
Arts Standard: DA.2.CR2.1Beginning, middle and end.
SEL Standard: "Standard 3: Social Awareness & Belonging: Develop social awareness that fosters a sense of belonging and leads to co-constructing equitable, thriving communities and a vibrant society."
