Let’s Make a Book with Roberta Lavadour
Learning Target: I understand that there are multiple ways to create art and solve problems. I communicate experiences and ideas when creating.
Learning Summary: Students will use the movement of their bodies to create marks on a sheet of paper. Following step-by-step instructions, they will use that paper to create an 8-page booklet, then explore the deconstructed marks, building on them to define objects, animals, and/or other forms and coloring them in.
Arts Standard: VA.1a.CR1.2 Various materials, tools
SEL Standard: "Standard 3: Social Awareness & Belonging: Develop social awareness that fosters a sense of belonging and leads to co-constructing equitable, thriving communities and a vibrant society."
