Hawaiian Hula with Lisa Chang
Learning Target: I can choreograph a dance using concepts from Hawaiian culture to create a unique dance with my group.
Learning Summary: Students will learn that being taught Hawaiian hula dance is not just learning a dance form but will be learning about the Hawaiian language and culture.
Arts Standard: DA.1.CR1.5 Build using stimuli
SEL Standard: "Standard 4: Relationship Skills & Collaborative Problem-Solving: Establish and maintain healthy, supportive relationships and effectively navigate diverse settings in order to collaboratively solve problems."
