Embodied Storytelling with Ki Ridenour-Starnes
Learning Target: I can use my body and voice like an instrument to reveal the inner life of a character. I can use my body to express emotions outwardly and move in different ways to create characters.
Learning Summary: Students will be introduced to an adaptation of a Southwestern/Southeastern indigenous story and embody the characters they learn about.
Arts Standard: TH.4.PR1.3Investigate movement, voice
SEL Standard: "Standard 3: Social Awareness & Belonging: Develop social awareness that fosters a sense of belonging and leads to co-constructing equitable, thriving communities and a vibrant society."
