Dance Your Feelings with Lindsi Kay
Learning Target: I can hear different music tempos and match the energy with my body movements. I can express my feelings through movement in a responsible way.
Learning Summary: Students will learn how to use dance movement to express their feelings responsibly. students will identify emotions, and how they can use movement qualities like tempo and speed to release their feelings through dance.
Arts Standard: DA.4.CR4.K. Match movement to musical tempo and apply different qualities of movement.
SEL Standard: "Standard 1: Self-Awareness & Identity: Identify and reflect upon one’s thoughts, emotions, behaviors, intersectional identity, and capabilities across situations and environments."
