Learning Target: I can explain how my group’s musical choices reflect our ideas and feelings about our community. I can describe how different kinds of music create different feelings and ideas.
Learning Summary: Students will learn about sharing music and how different music is used on different occasions and creates an ambiance. Students will create a playlist that represents their classroom that they can use in the future.
Arts Standard: MU.4.PR1.3 Demonstrate and explain how the selection of music to perform is influenced by personal interest, knowledge, purpose, and context.
SEL Standard: "Standard 4: Relationship Skills & Collaborative Problem-Solving: Establish and maintain healthy, supportive relationships and effectively navigate diverse settings in order to collaboratively solve problems."
