Colorful Emotions with Mia Bonilla
Learning Target: I can make socio-emotional associations through colors, shapes, and lines. Students will use play and imagination to select colors and shapes that represent emotions in their artwork, while employing management strategies to achieve their artistic goals
Learning Summary: Through the use of colorful shapes and expressive art-making, kindergarten students in our class develop important socio-emotional skills. By exploring emotions through creativity, children strengthen their social awareness and build meaningful connections with their peers and themselves. This activity serves as a foundation for lifelong emotional well-being and interpersonal relationships.

SEL Standard: Standard 2: Self-Management & Agency: Use management strategies to build personal and collective agency that lead to achieving goals and aspirations.
