Character Expression with Tony Fuemmeler

Learning Target: I can investigate how to use compassionate observation and specific physical choices to embody a character.

Learning Summary: Through games, observation, drawing, and discussion, students will name a number of emotions and find ways these feeling can be expressed and understood in their body and the bodies of others. They will further develop their ideas by creating an imagined character in their body.

Arts Standard: TH.4.PR1.4.2 Make physical choices to develop a character in a drama/theatre work.

SEL Standard: "Standard 5: Responsible Decision-Making & Curiosity: Demonstrate curiosity and analysis of oneself and society in order to make caring choices that impact personal, social, and collective well-being across situations and environments."
