Mural Time

Murals are a great way to build community, not only with the people at your school, but with the audience all around you! Christian and the students begin by working on a small scale using sketching, painting, and/or multimedia. Students then transfer their work to a larger surface, giving them time to practice their drawing and painting skills. Christian transfers the student designs onto the wall and then works with students while they complete the final version. These murals can be designed by the students, by the educators, or by the artist. Use a mural to engage your students and your community! Design and material decisions will be made by the school and the artist during planning. Supply and preparation fees will depend on the space, Christian works with each school to determine the right process and materials for their site.
