ALNW Newsletter: Your Support Makes a Difference – Help Us Reach Our Goal!

Dear ALNW Community,

At some point, you've been part of our story—whether through supporting one of our programs like Fun for the Arts or Sh/ft, or simply because art matters to you. Your support has helped bring creativity and connection to thousands of young people, and today, we're reaching out because we need your help now more than ever.

This morning, our fearless leader Lauren Jost was featured on KATU's AM Northwest, sharing the powerful impact of Arts for Learning NW and shining a light on our year-end Give!Guide campaign. Please see below to watch the video.

In s ummary, 2024 has been an incredible year:

  • We collaborated with 50+ artists statewide on the Arts, Care & Connection curriculum.
  • We partnered with 1
  • 40 schools across Portland Metro, SW Washington, and Central Oregon, reaching 53,000 students with transformative arts experiences.
  • We joined forces with Friends of Noise to expand LiveSET.
  • We celebrated creativity and sustainability with six teams' fashion designs modeled by six beloved drag queens at SH/FT.

2025 holds even more promise. As we deepen our partnerships with schools, artists, and community organizations, we're working to expand access to the arts, even as schools face challenging budget cuts. The evidence is clear: arts education improves academic outcomes, attendance, engagement, and social-emotional learning.

We can't do this without you. Your support keeps arts education alive and ensures every child has the chance to experience the joy and growth that comes from creativity.

Please consider making a contribution to our year-end Give!Guide campaign today.

With gratitude and warm wishes,
The Arts for Learning NW Team
