We are excited to share the news that Lauren Jost (she/her) will become the next Executive Director of Young Audiences of Oregon & SW Washington! Lauren brings lived experience of being a teaching artist, as well as expertise in successful grant writing, program development, and more. Having developed both a depth and breadth of skills as an arts education consultant, Founding Artistic Director of Spellbound Theater in New York City, and as the current board president of the Association of Teaching Artists, we believe Lauren will help guide YA as we build upon the joyful and high-impact ways we inspire young people and expand their learning through the arts! Lauren’s first day will be May 3, and we have a feeling you will be hearing a lot more from Lauren soon.
